Egypt Japan University of Science and Technology is hosting Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) contest organized by ICAEA.
Participation in the contest is free of charge.
The contest will be conducted at three levels:
Level 1: Country, for Egypt it will be on 13-2-2020 in Egypt Japan University of Science and Technology, Borg El Arab, Alexandria.
Level 2: Regional, will be on March 7, 2020 in Dubai
Level 3: International will be on Sept 11, 2020 in Japan.
The competition is targeting undergraduate students whose major is accounting or finance. They will receive online training on ACL (Galvanize) software to qualify to enter the contest. Students need to complete at least 20 hours of online training (ICAEA provides access to all participating students free of charge). The participating team is required to solve 6 audit objectives in 4 hours using the ACL software. Each team consists of 3 students.
The participating teams at domestic/regional levels will be awarded certificates of attendance from ICAEA.
The winning team at international level will be awarded a valuable prize of $1000 offered by ICAEA.
